Brisbane based Electronica artist Beauie will be releasing their highly anticipated second EP ‘Oblivious.’ The traditional electronica and downtempo stylings are punctuated by samples and instrumental pieces in Beauie’s most eclectic project to date.
The six-track EP will include an experimental reinterpretation of David Bowie's Let's Dance, accompanied by the leading track Hetrospect, encapsulating this EP as a retrospective on Heteronormativity from the perspective of a genderqueer bisexual-man. Beauie’s ‘Oblivious’ will be released digitally on the 18th of February on all platforms.
“It's been to long since I put something out, and my music video and single projects are taking too long, I need to make music! So, here is music. Stuff to put on in the background. Some of the music is inspired by a girl, some use sampling reflective of my coming out story. Yes, another white guy who thinks his story is worth telling, maybe I should do a podcast like the rest, but this story is gay, so its a little more fun.”

‘Oblivious’ is live on all streaming platforms from 18/02/2022
Beauie - Oblivious (EP)
Slow-mo shower-dance. This is where dreams are made.
Recorded diy in the covid-19 crisis using a Samsung 8s in slow-motion capture. I think this was take six or something and I only fell over once.
It was very wet.
